Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 4, 2025
Apodemeo Labs ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data our Chrome extensions and website collect, how that data is used, stored, and protected.
🔐 Overview
Apodemeo Labs develops simple, privacy-first Chrome extensions designed to enhance productivity while respecting user privacy. All extensions—including Save My Tabs and all other Chrome Extensions developed by Apodemeo Labs—follow Google’s Chrome Web Store policies and store data locally within your browser environment.
📦 Data We Collect
1. Data Stored Locally
Our extensions may store limited information locally using Chrome’s built-in APIs such as chrome.storage or bookmarks. This may include:
- Extension settings or preferences (e.g., UI configuration, saved state).
- Locally saved data specific to extension functionality (like saved tabs or notes).
- Whether you are using a free, trial, or pro user.
This information never leaves your device and is accessible only to your Chrome profile or Chrome Sync account if you have sync enabled.
2. Data Collected via ExtensionPay (for Pro Users)
If you choose to activate a pro plan or trial, Apodemeo Labs uses ExtensionPay and Stripe for licensing and payments. These services may process:
- Subscription status (free, trial, or active license)
- Email address (if provided during checkout)
- Payment details (handled only by Stripe)
Apodemeo Labs does not collect or store personal or payment data directly. All billing and verification is handled securely by ExtensionPay and Stripe under their respective privacy policies.
❌ What We Do NOT Collect
Extensions developed by Apodemeo Labs do not collect or transmit any of the following:
- Your browsing history
- The content or URLs of your open tabs (unless you manually save them)
- Your IP address or device identifiers
- Personally identifiable information (except what you may voluntarily share during payment through Stripe)
- Tracking data or advertising identifiers
🔄 Data Sharing and Third Parties
Apodemeo Labs does not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. The only third-party services used are:
- ExtensionPay – for managing subscriptions, trials, and licensing.
- Stripe – for secure payment processing.
- Google Chrome APIs – to enable extension storage, permissions, and settings functionality.
These third parties have their own privacy policies and only process limited data as necessary to provide their services.
🛡️ Data Security
We use Chrome’s secure storage mechanisms to protect local data. Apodemeo Labs does not run remote databases, tracking scripts, or analytics servers.
